My WHY

As I sit here, write this and tell you MY WHY, I am crying, not because I am sad, but because I am happy. I want you to think to yourself when reading this what your WHY is. Because when you find your WHY, you find everything in your power to fight for that WHY, you do what others can’t because your WHY is so strong. You live and breath for that WHY. So here it goes..

This is my WHY. My darling daughter, Trinity. She has given me the most amazing experiences at life that anyone could ever imagine. Before she was born, I heard her heart beat, I felt her kicks, and I felt her move all around in my belly. It was mind blowing. I was going to care and nurture a new human being and hell, I didn’t know what to do. But that is what happens, you learn how to take care of that blessing. You do everything you can to take care of that precious jewel that was given to you. You ask questions, you read the internet, you go above everything else and give that baby everything that you can possibly think of. You do all of this because that blessing is your heart, your soul, your everything and your WHY!

My WHY is growing fast and she is learning that Mommy isn’t around enough. She is seeing Mommy work Monday through Sunday, then come home and work some more because it’s what she has to do. She works really hard to make sure her WHY lives the best life. It’s not about the money, it’s not about the mansion, it’s not about a fancy car, it’s about TIME. Time with my WHY, time with her so she can learn, time with her to see her laugh, smile and have fun. Time with her to show her that life is precious and we need to live every minute of it. I am sacrificing my time, my energy, my happiness just so my WHY can see that Mommy will give her the world. My WHY will not have a broken home. My WHY will not have to cry herself to sleep because she isn’t with her Mommy. My WHY will not have to move every other month. My WHY will not have to stay up at night and wonder what tomorrow will be like. My WHY will not be ashamed of herself.
BUT my WHY will have structure. My WHY will have a home to live in. MY why will have her parents to take care of her. My WHY will have good food on the table. My WHY will have a heart full of love. My WHY will have a big smile on her face, always. My WHY will have the best life she can possibly have because her Mommy and Daddy work hard to give her that. We only have this one life, and we need to treasure it. Some of us are blessed with our WHY including myself, some of us don’t know what are WHY is, and some of us don’t even think about our WHY. When your WHY is so big though, you sacrifice now that way you don’t have to wish you started a long time ago. Working 4 jobs won’t last long because I am building a life of freedom for my WHY. My WHY will have her Mommy home, have weekends with her Mommy and have TIME with her Mommy every day here soon.
When you figure out your WHY though, you figure out why your life is worth living. Why you want to make your dreams become reality, why you work your ass off, why you strive to be better, why you go above and beyond to get things done, why you fight so hard, why you have sleepless nights, why you are brave and fearless. Seriously, think about your WHY. When it brings tears to your eyes, you know that it’s your WHY. When you find your WHY, don't ever give up on it.

Insanity Max 30 Results

So excited to share with you my coach, Sarah’s results from Insanity Max 30 results (Oh and it’s on promotion right now – say what?) I am so glad to know her, grow my business with her, be on her team, have wine nights, hold each other accountable, share my life with her, and be girl bosses together!!! I probably would have never got to know her without this amazing coaching opportunity she gave me. Love you girl!!! 😘 #wcw

She is one hot momma who got results with determination and consistency. Yes, some people want to look like her before picture and that is ok! She looks FABULOUS in both. But in her second photo, she is healthy, fit, happy, and confident in her skin. She followed her meal plan about 80% of the time, drank her Shakeology each day, and did her workouts!!! BAM, she is FIT! 💪🏼

Want to know something else? She only lost 4 pounds during this program, but she didn’t have a drastic weight loss because it doesn’t work, it’s because she was already fairly small, a size 0 and you don’t have that much weight to drop. She is healthy and toned. She didn’t need to lose weight, she has been “skinny” her whole life, she did it to be healthy and fit for herself and her family. ❤️

If you are looking to GET HEALTHY, LOSE WEIGHT, TONE UP, or GET FIT, let’s chat!!! I would love for you to join me in my challenge group starting May 9th!! Summer is coming and our bikinis need to fit!!

WHY Shakeology?

SOOOO.. there is multiple reasons why I drink Shakeology and I frequently get asked what’s in it? Why do you drink it? What’s the difference between Shakeology and other protein shakes?  Is it worth the money?

Here are some FACTS about Shakeology and why I can’t live without it now!

What's in Shakeology?
-Protein and Essential Amino Acids to help build muscle and reduce food cravings*
-Help build and repair muscles
-Reduce hunger and food cravings
-Promote healthy skin, hair, and nails
Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Café Latte and Greenberry Shakeology include whey protein isolate, an easily absorbable source of high-quality protein that's ideal for building and maintaining lean muscle mass. Tropical Strawberry and Vegan Chocolate include high-quality plant proteins from brown rice, pea and other sources. Essential amino acids, found in these proteins, help the body repair muscle tissue and heal wounds and even reduce hunger pangs. The protein in all Shakeology products provides a highly bioavailable source of essential amino acids.

Prebiotics, Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes, which aid in improving digestion, regularity, and nutrient absorption*
-Aids digestion
-Support a healthy intestinal tract
-Increase absorption of nutrients
-Shakeology contains many ingredients that are beneficial to the digestive system.
-Prebiotics, natural components of certain plants, help support the "friendly" bacteria in your digestive tract.
-Probiotics are strains of live good bacteria that help with the digestive process. They assist the body in absorbing nutrients and minerals, bring an overall balance to the digestive tract, and help support the immune system.
-Digestive enzymes, from sources such as pineapples and papayas, help your body break down food into its individual components, making the nutrients easier to absorb.

Adaptogens*
-Help promote a strong immune system
-Help increase energy
-Help protect the body from stress
-Help balance endocrine hormones and the immune system
Adaptogens are special herbs that grow in harsh climates and conditions, at high elevations, atop mountains where the soil is rocky and oxygen in the air is thin. Because these plants have to adapt to harsh conditions, they have highly concentrated nutrients that can help your body cope with stress, provide energy, and maintain a strong immune system. Shakeology has a total of 9 adaptogens - more than any other shake out there.

Antioxidants and phytonutrients (plant-sourced ingredients) may help maintain health*
-Help neutralize harmful free radicals
-Help decrease inflammation
-Help maintain the immune system
-Potentially decrease the risk of degenerative diseases
Many of Shakeology's fruit and vegetable sources have been chosen for their high concentration of healthy natural substances known as phytonutrients, including flavonoids, polyphenols, anthocyanins, and catechins. These substances have antioxidant properties, meaning they help neutralize molecules known as free radicals, which damage cells and may contribute to the aging process. In laboratory tests, phytonutrients have shown promise in helping prevent a wide variety of degenerative conditions.

23 Vitamins and Minerals your body needs to function for optimal health*
-Get a wide range of essential nutrients
-Get your necessary vitamins every day
-Make up for dietary deficiencies

Most of us don't get the complete range of essential vitamins and minerals in our daily diets. Some important vitamins, such as vitamin B and C vitamins, are water-soluble, meaning they're flushed out of your body after a short time and need to be replenished regularly. Others, like vitamin E, can be difficult to get enough of in food. Shakeology Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla and Greenberry provide all these nutrients in an easy-to-take form, so you never have to worry. (Tropical Strawberry and Vegan Chocolate do not have the vitamin and mineral ingredients added.)

So as you can see it is VERY different from a “protein” shake because of all of its amazing nutritious ingredients! Also, it is worth every single penny. I drink this every day for breakfast and it helps me stay on track and reach my goals. $4 a day for something that is valuable to my body and keeps me healthy.. HELL YEAH!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

The cutest pumpkin in the patch!
Trinity and I went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday 10/24.
We had so much fun!
It was Mommy/Daughter day!
Trinity was too busy in the play houses.
She didn't even want to go on the hay ride.
She didn't even care to pick out pumpkins to carve.
She made some new friends in the play house though!
More playhouse fun!
But I will say..
My daughter gets more beautiful each day.
That blonde hair and blue eyes.
That smile will light up anyone's world.
She is definitely my favorite pumpkin EVER!
TPK loved the witch's "stew".
It was all eyeballs.
She kept playing in it and takin' the eyeballs out.
She is a little stinker.
Then she would go put them in another water pond.
She thought it was funny.
Then she goes "ewww eyeballs".
Never a dull moment with this cutie!

Harner Farms is where we like to go to pick pumpkins.
I wish Trinity wanted to do the hayride
and pick a pumpkin from the patch.
It's ok, because there is always next year.
Needless to say, we left without pumpkins.
She didn't want to sit still, she wanted to play for the afternoon.
Little 2 year olds have their own agenda.. HAHA!

A nice guy said, "Let me take your picture."
Trin and I got up on the big bear and got our picture taken.
Mommy and Trin's day out was a success.
Even though we didn't get pumpkins.
Having her play all day and just having the day together was PERFECT!

That face though!
We always get her picture in the pumpkin.
She was cheesin' hard!
I love making new memories with her though!
Then she was a cute little kitty.
I love you Trinity the black kitty.
Those blue eyes are poppin!
Yes, her fingernails are only painted on one hand.
That's what happens when toddlers are impatient
and don't want their nails to dry.. LOL!

Haunted House time.
It was just a little walk way.
She got scared though and ran out the entrance.
She wanted to go in by herself too.
I said let Mommy carry you and she didn't.
I guess she was too scared anyways!
I definitely caught a good picture of her running away!

On our way out, Trinity decided to hide.
I found her in this sign.
It was too cute!
PEEK-A-BOO!
Love my pumpkin!

Ocean City, Maryland 2015

Every year we try and go to the beach.
Since we found out we were pregnant,
we have went to OCMD.
We love the beach there and just made it
a family ritual to go there each year.
Each year we have went with family and friends.
This year my Dad and Brother went with us!
All ready to go to dinner at the Taphouse.
The appetizers were amazing.
We had buffalo chicken dip
and crab stuffed soft pretzels.
It was our first time trying out that restaurant.
I would go back for sure!
We love the beach.
Sand between our toes,
relaxing,
not having to worry about anything.
I am so happy my brother got to come with us.
He missed school, but it was worth it.
Hope he comes again with us.
My King and I having a nice walk on the beach.
We woke up early and just took a walk.
It was nice to be alone
and just be grateful that we were on vacation.
We got to talk to each other
with no interruptions and
get a little exercise.
Love my better half.
My baby girl is fearless.
She loved the water.
She is always asking to go back too.
I guess someday we will live at the beach.
Trinity loves her Grandpa.
This picture will definitely be framed.
Enjoying the great weather and loving life.
Then we had these to die for donuts.
Fractured Prune.
Best donuts FOR REAL.
We had 3 dozen the week we were there.
It took me a week to burn those babies off.
LOL.
They were worth it though.
I could eat one right now.
We love the Tiki Bar.
We got drinks there everyday/night.
They are just so good.
I had so many different kinds.
My favorite was the Mudslide.
David loved the Grasshopper.
At least we got to enjoy some drinks together.
Trinity was snoozin' early this night.
Another night out.
We took my Dad and Brother to Fager's Island.
It's our favorite restaurant.
You can sit outside and enjoy the view.
We always go and watch the sunset.
We enjoy the atmosphere and walking out on the gazebo.
10 years apart in age.
We are so close though.
I love my brother so much.
I wish we got to see each other more though.
No matter what,
when we get to see each other
we never skip a beat.
We laugh until we practically pee ourselves.
We are always up for a good time.
He makes me proud.
I'm glad he is my brother.
Our little family.
Last day at the beach.
We had a blast.
Until next year.
