My Fitness Journey

This is the NEW me!
Down 25 pounds. Stronger and Happier.
How my story began:
Right before I found out I was pregnant, I wasn't in the best shape.
I ate all kinds of junk food, drank a ton of alcohol, and never exercised.
I was depressed and let everything around me take over.
Fast forward a little,
40 weeks pregnant. Little one didn't want to come out.
Gained 50 pounds.
Talk about a MAMOOSE!
Unhappy, uncomfortable, drained, lazy, and tired.
Oh dear, I was HUGE!
After TPK was born, I breastfed for 9 months.
That helped me lose the baby weight.
Plus some extra weight I wanted gone.
Still wasn't happy with my body.
I know having a child changes your body,
but that gave me more power to work on myself.
I wanted to FEEL good, be HAPPY and be ME.
It took me 2 years to realize that I still didn't have the ME I wanted.
Something great happened.
Planet Fitness was opening nearby and I could go to the gym.
Hallelujah!!!
Gotta love gym selfies.
With a great tank I must add.
Anyways,
I changed my mindset.
I told David it was time for a change.
He agreed.
We signed up for the gym immediately.
Within the first 3 months of working out,
focusing on nutrition and drinking only water:
I lost 25 pounds.
Yes, it was a struggle.
Yes, I wanted to give up.
Yes, it was so hard.
But..
No, I kept pushing myself.
No, I didn't stop.
No, I kept going and didn't give up.
BEST DECISION I'VE MADE IN A LONG TIME.
I didn't think I could find myself again.
I didn't think I could get my body back after a child.
I proved myself wrong.
I have my body back.
I have a new mom bod.
But, it's better than before.
Now I know what it takes to be where I want to be.
NEVER GIVE UP.
NEVER BACK DOWN.
